Home Visits

Wings' teachers and therapy professionals visit the home as part of a regular schedule designed to maintain continuity with the school program and to reinforce the skills learned at school in the home environment.

Parents are education partners and the ones responsible for strengthening the skills and generalizing them in the home.

We provide the following resources to parents:

Daily Status Report

The classroom teacher will communicate daily via a written status report highlighting the child's high points during the day as well as any behaviors that need to be addressed at home.

Quarterly Individual Education Plan Meetings

During these meetings goals will be developed and progress will be assessed.

Resource Library

A wide variety of books and video tapes are available for parents to borrow.
