Children, ages 5 to
22, who have been given the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or a Communication
Disorder.
The Program
Wings' program is a comprehensive
academic curriculum, designed to prepare students to transition to a
traditional classroom. Our approach is:

Multi-sensory, to increase each child's
opportunities for learning.

to work with each child's strengths and learning needs.

Structured, to provide each child with clear
expectations of his or her academic performance and
behavior.

The
School
Faculty: All teachers
and paraprofessionals are certified and/or licensed in their area of
expertise.
Class Size: Wings has a
2 to 1 student to faculty ratio. We have a maximum of 6 to 8
students, and gather in smaller groups for reading and math
instruction.
Class Schedule: Wings has a full day class
schedule, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Fridays are minimum days with school beginning at 8:30 a.m. and
ending at 12:00 p.m. for Elementary and Middle School students and
12:30 p.m. for High School students.
